Video description update. —I recorded this video when I'd just started dipping into Youtube community/opinion pieces, having just used YouTube to view TV and Music videos before. And I was pretty horrified at the prejudices and judgements I was hearing against atheists. I'd *never* experienced that before in all my years growing up here in the UK — and, I guess, had come to take it for granted that my views were respected, that I wasn't judged as a 'bad' person for holding them, and that my atheism wasn't dismissed/diagnosed as some empty 'rebellion'.So coming to YouTube and seeing the hideous judgements and disrespect directed at me personally, was a culture shock. Even though this video is pretty tempered, I can recall how pissed off I was around that time at the presumptuous, prejudicial and completely off-target comments sent my way by various believers. "You think you know it all!""You'll be spending a long time in Hell.""You have no integrity!"etc.I don't know whether it's a positive or negative thing that I'm now apparently 'desensitised' to these flagrant abuses and oversteppings of boundaries. On the positive side my expectations of how I will be treated are now more accurate and the comments don't really touch me anymore. On the negative side, what a shame I've had to downgrade my expectations so appallingly low.
